About Us

Originally formed under the name of K & H Ainsworth Engineering in 1991 the company provided extensive spare part components to the rail industry. In response to consistent growth a share of a long established Queanbeyan based engineering company was acquired allowing greater production capacity. Work was then able to extend into other areas including major fabrication; heavy machining and site works. In 2006 the company was moved from Queanbeyan to a new purpose built workshop on a 13,000 sq metre site in Goulburn. During 2006 K & H Ainsworth aquired full share holding of the company. The business has now been upgraded with new levels of staffing, services and updated equipment for expansion into new markets. The parent company K & H Ainsworth Engineering Pty. Ltd. continues operations supplying specialised consulting and manufacturing services to major National and private museums and collections. Customers include the Australian War Memorial and Archives, Powerhouse Museum and the National Museum of Australia.
